Hair

Alright all you beautiful ladies who know so much more about being fashionable than I do. (That would be ALL of you.)

Growth

  1. Do you see how I’m growing fur around my hair line?

What do I do about that? It is my hair growing back in, after it fell out in gobs postpartum. I’ve been growing out my bangs for months, but now? I can’t keep going around like this.

Do I cut them again? I think I need to but how? Straight or side-swept? Short or long? Thick or thin? Should I plan on keeping them flat or is the claw back in yet?

  2. It was hard to capture just how bad they are but my eyebrows are definitely creeping out of their designated territory on my face. But I despise tweezing and don’t wanna do it anymore! I can’t justify a professional waxing every few weeks but I’ve heard scary things about home wax kits.

Anybody know of a good one? I’m pretty sure I could enlist my husband on the job, if I can just find the right product. He is a perfectionist and everything he does, he does beautifully, and even though he likes to joke about not being interested in girly things like this, I know deep down he is just dying for another way to serve me.

So I know you all have answers and I want to hear them. Don’t be afraid to speak up. Here, I’ll be that girl on Clueless–the utterly lost beauty-soul–and you gals be Cher. (That was her name, right?) If only I could persuade you to actually come to my house and really fix me up.

And while we’re on the subject of hair, my baby?

Is still lacking desperately in that department.
I'm pretty smiley

She’s so stinkin’ adorable though.

Who do I look like?

So we don’t mind.

Hair is overrated anyway, she says.

She's ready to go too!

waxing your eyebrows is one of the worst things because it pulls your skin like crazy and when you get older you’ll end up with saggy skin above your eyes. if you know of anyone who threads eyebrows, see if you can get in for that as it’s less expensive (usually!) and it doesn’t kill your skin :)

As for your shorter hairs, I used to have that as well and I would use a bit of gel and an old toothbrush to comb the frizzballs into submission.

Wish I could help, but I’m lacking more in that department than you are. Good Luck!

Hey! Definitely do the claw!! Ha ha no really though i think that if you are going to do bangs again do side swept ones, and my personal opinion, I loved your hair short! I thought that was divine on you :)! Mary is adorable! And I would love to talk to you so i will email you my phone number so you can call me! It would be fantastic if you guys came to utah!

Claudia, thank you for that! I watched some videos on how to do it and I’m totally going to try it. Or enlist my husband to try it for me…

Christina, thanks, I don’t know, I always get tired of it so I cut it short and then after a week I think I look dreadful with short hair and vow never to cut it again. Repeat that cycle about 600 times and you have my hair’s life-story.

Trina, if I could have beautiful long hair like yours that just looks nice no matter what (at least it has every time I’ve ever seen you), I could afford to be as ignorant as I am!
